Default Few hundred bucks fix ?

His "few hundred bucks fixes it all" would scare me either with his lack of knowledge or what else is wrong that they don't know about.I can't even call my Porsche shop for a few hundred bucks much less have them fix those items.

It always cracks me up to see claims like that - "only needs a few small things" or "easy to repair" or "few hundred bucks fixes it all". For some reason sellers assume everyone is so stupid as to not ask the obvious question, "if it was such an easy/cheap fix, why aren't you doing it?"

Sorta' like the old, "a/c system needs a charge" Anyone with half a brain knows that really means, "a/c system has a leak and probably needs hundreds of dollars worth of repairs, if not more".
