Default Car wont turn over...

I went to start up my car today, and the engine gave about 1 crank and dead. It worked last week, and I have been home for the last 6 days and this is my first time trying to start it since then. Ideas? Battery should be fine

I'd still check the battery. There are many different things that could drain it down fast.

well if it's the battery, the starter won't work or you'll hear it turning slow.
