Default Bolt Patter Adapter questions...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4616&rd=1&rd=1

Thinkin' about getting these so I can pick up a set of decent looking rims that aren't so expensive..

Only problem is I have no clue as to what width and offset I'd need to combat the spacer... I have a 931 with the late offset, 52.3mm I'm looking at getting either 16 or 17" rims.

Are these adapters even ok to use or are they a no no?

Thanks
Jason

Just make sure they are beveled on the inside or you will not get the centercaps on from any of the newer style wheels. I know you will need 21mm spacers for the front but I am not sure for the back. Do 924's have staggered wheels as the 944?

931's are early offset, are you sure have late offset? Have you swapped spindles or something?

Here is a website with all the info you will need in regards to offsets and adapters.

I've always been under the impression that the 931 was late offset..

So i'm going to need the 2" adapter plus 21 mm spacer on the front?

The stock rims are all the same size I believe.. 15x6

But the rims I would want would be 16 or 17 by 7... I just need to know what offset I would need to look for if I'm using these adapters..

The adapters themselves are 2" thick.

Is it just me or does removing that much material near the mounting bolts make anyone else uncomfortable?

What wheels are you trying to fit?

I'm sorry, when I read your post I thought you were looking for spacers to go to late offset Porsche (and Replica) wheels. Are you trying to change the bolt pattern? What are the offsets for the wheels you want?
