Blower motor resistance values
Cleaned and sanded the contacts on my blower motor resistor last night. It would occasionally not work on 1,2, or 3.
Put everything back together. Now my once working blower no longer works at all, except on 4.
Took it apart again today and decided to soak in white vinegar for about an hour. I would recommend
washing in soapy water with an old toothbrush first to remove any grease so the vinegar can do its job.
Everything came out nice and sparkling clean. Reinstalled. Works perfectly! (knock on wood)
Here are my resistance values between the plugs after cleaning:
plugs 1 and 2: 2.6-2.7
plugs 1 and 3: 3.6-3.7
plugs 1 and 4: 4.1
plugs 1 and 5: 4.3
