Default Stupid sunroof seal question.

Sunroof was leaking, bought new seals.

On sites such as pelican, paragon, and 944online I got the impression that the more expensive one went on the body, not the roof itself. I got the expensive one today and found that it matched the one on the roof not the body.

Is this correct? The reciept says "Roof seal on body" but it matched the one on the roof.
So im just a bit confused...

Can anyone tell me for sure which way they are supposed to go. I think I got it right but it doesnt match the receipt.

Thanks!

I recently purchased the seal that attaches to the body, its cost ~ $19.

The roof seal on the body itself is just a tiny strip to cover the upturned metal edge. The more substantial and expensive of the two seals is the one on the sunroof itself.

Just bit the bullet and spent the 95 dollars on that puppy myself. But it does seal so much nicer now...

I need to replace mine. The PO let Earl Schwibe on drugs paint the car and the SOB just painted over it!!!! Any one know how to get the thin rubber seal out that runs up the side of the A pillar, above the door, and back to the hatch?

Yeah... I put in on backwards the first time... or inside out, or however you could mess it up.
Does seal damn tight now. And it doesnt seem to be raining in my car anymore.
