Question Tail Light Covers for 944

Would anybody know any info on where I could find tail light covers for the 944, I think smoked covers would look really nice and give this car a more modern look. I did a search in the rennlist archives and came up with zilch. The 928 has them, but not the 944. For as many 3rd party manufactures that produce parts for these cars, this is the only thing I'm having trouble finding.

Thanks

People have done it with spray on lens tint stuff.. That's all I've seen.

I did not know there was such a thing as spray tint, I don't think I would do that, for 1, knowing me I would f%?k it up and for second I don't want to damage the tail lights themselves, and I want to do as little as I can from altering there original state.

IMO those covers look tacky. I'd get a bodyshop to tint them properly. That would look cool.

Why would you want to do something to the car that reduces its safety? I don't suppose you were planning to compensate with higher-output lamps . . .

I tinted all of my lenses except the fog and headlights. The tint doesn't diminish the light output noticeably unless you go overboard with it. Which I did on my front turn signals, which is why I'm building a set of LED lights to replace the front turn signals. With your car being all red you might think about spraying the tails all red. I've seen it done and it looks very nice. Here are some threads on the subject.
