Anyone got a beater car?
Anyone got a beater car to sell ?Im looking for a good running car for an 18 year old for the winter ,must run good under 1500 bucks.
In Ri or nearby mass or Ct. Not a P car.

My dad has a Volvo 740 he wants to sell. We need to finish the head gasket job. Maybe having a buyer lined up would get him going on it. No rust. The power sunroof is a little weird, the heated seats don't work, and the headliner is sagging a little in back. Other than those extra electricals, the car was running fine. I think that's the approx price range. We're in Putnam, CT- just take 44 out of RI.

my neighbor has a 88 or 87 rx7 gxl automatic with about 77k miles and most service records from day one. crummy paint, all original panels. he is by JFK.

I've got a 94 Saturn SL2 that I've been thinking about getting rid of. Runs, but could use a little TLC. Windshield has a crack that may or may not pass inspection. 210k on the clock. Everything works. To make it more reliable, it could use a new timing chain, brake rotors/pads, fluid flush and tires. Pearl white with gray leather/cloth interior. (Special 1994 "Homecoming" edition.) I would be happy to get around $500 for it.
