RHD Issue - Steering Rack Mounts
Just had my Rack pulled out for the Rennbay rebuild.
Was planning to replace the Rack Mounts (no. 944 347 137 00 and 944 347 139 01) at the same time.
However I find my Rack is bolted to the Cross Member directly, without any Rubber Mounts.
There seems to be no way to accommodate the rubber mounts on this rack since the brackets are also different.
Does anybody know if the mounts are used only in the LHD rack, and that the RHD Rack comes without mounts?
hoping this is normal... won't be too thrilled to find out I have a modified setup
