i was so embarassed though because your car was amazing. it was like new. my car was like a drunk lady wakes up in the morning without make-ups. =) the previous owner let it sit and oxidized. my wife won't believe they are the same model after seeing yours.
i detailed the car and spent a whole day buffing it the next weekend. it can use a paint job on the rear panel and tail-light to be fixed. but man i really like your white color. i wonder if it's worth it to paint my car white.

Hey man many thanks. It's not *quite* that great up close but I'm looking forward to getting her all shiny in '07. Gonna steam clean the engine soon.
Red is pretty hot man - just claybar it and give it a good detailing. Keep the car red.
funny little detail about my car. . . most are Grand Prix White but mine is Arctic White which as far as I can tell is a bit more cream-ish. Grand Prix looks really bright in comparison.

interesting that it has different white colors, for a small volume car. i already buffed and claybar it, and put on a layer of wax. i'll have to find another warm weekend day to put some more layers of wax though.

For those who don't know the history, 968.net was "The" forum until it stopped being maintained properly and was frequently down. Eric Sandoval started up 968forums.com and many moved over there until people grew tired of a certain individual's behavior. Most recently club stuttgart has seen many of the regulars participating with a specific lack of one individual's participation. The 968 forum on rennlist has never been very active.

Hey Bluedd, welcome! I have a red 968 as well, a '95 model with all the late 968 goodies. I just moved from San Francisco to writherside, but I hope to see you around when I'm back in town for vacations, runs, w/e. There are so many 968 forums, and so few owners, I don't really know where to hang out. In the end, I thought the crowd was more important than the specific car, so I stay here with the 944 people. 944s are close enough anyways. Besides, my first was a 944.
