Sorry, guys i was out of town for the weekend. So I got some takers on the drive to asheville? Right now the tentative plans are to drive up pretty early, leaving round 7:30 or 8. Go to looking glass falls, drive around, prolly make some more stops on the way. Eat in asheville and walk around there. These are the tentative plans. If anyone has any other suggetions then let me know.

Hey Ben,

Becca and I will be traveling to GA for the Holiday, otherwise we might join y'all.

The ride to WV, 12/10, is still on go if anyone wants to meet @ US 421 and I-77.

In addition the horses still need to be ridden.

sidsport, I would love to meet up with you and some other Asheville folks. I am moving up to the area on the 10th of December. My car will be folowing shortly after.

As for the trip to Asheville this weekend I'm going to have to skip. I am worn out on the drive up there right now. Please take pics though.

Sorry to disappoint y'all but my battery died today, so I had some unexpected costs. But this weekend is not looking good for me to do a drive. I'm up for the one on the 10th tho.

Here is some information to the Sunday, December 10 run to WV.

The PCA crowd will be leaving Clemmons at 9 AM, following the region's Christmas party. I'll leave early, have route directions available, and will hand them out at the meet.

For anyone that wants to join in the fun run, I'll meet you at exit 79 and I-77. This exit is one exit north of the US 421 and I 77 interchange. As you exit off the ramp, take a left, cross over I 77 and there will be a Shell station on the right. I should be there at 9:15 and the P-cars cars should be 15 minutes behind me.

The address for the meet is 5616 US Hwy 21, Jonesville, NC 28642.

Pipestem, WV is a 90 minute drive from the meet. We will stop for lunch and continue exploring the WV roads for a couple of hours. Everyone should be back home around dark thrity.

I'll x post this in the OT forum.

Edit, there will most likely be two groups driving, the first group driving a bit faster than the second group. Knowing this crowd, as I've got to know them, most likely there will be an even faster group taking the lead.

I've just decided that I'm in for the WV tour. Looks like the Asheville trip kinda fizzled out

I'm into photography so maybe I'll get a chance to plenty of pics of the trip. This will be my first group ride so I'm really excited ! Here's a pic of my 87' 944S.

Rollis, PM sent.

While there were snow flurries in WV last night, Sunday's weather is forecast to be in the low 50s and sunny. Roads should be dry. Sunday should be a great day for the last drive of 2006.

The wrenching starts as soon as Santa brings me my new tools.

PS, there is always room on the road for another P-car or two. Let me know if anyone wants to join up so I can bring enough maps. Should be 10 or so cars making this run.

I'll be driving up on the 16th from Orlando to pu my son and bring him here form Christmas and would like to hookup with you Saturday before we drive back. I need to be home Saturday evening because we're taking a family cruise to the Bahamas. Does anyone know if Santa will find me on the ship? There's a REALLY BIG chimmeny and I'm sure he can fit something for me down that thing!
