Default Remove Windows Trim

Can someone give me instructions on how to remove the trim around the driver and pass window. See pic below. The trim looks like its sitting on a piece of rubber moulding but I am not sure how to remove it.

I hit it too hard with a buffer and the edge is showing a little primer. So, I need to take it off and repaint it.

thanks.

If I recall correctly; pop off the little " V shaped" piece behind the mirrors (w/ tiny screwdriver.) Gently start prying up the strips off of the rubber (from the front) they are held in at the window pillar end by tangs and slots and press fit onto the rubber everywhere else. DO NOT BEND or they will not go back on. Sand and paint with semi gloss or flat black. Installation is reverse of removal. If you are talking about the piece that would be the "rain gutter" or painted piece that matches the car, it pulls out/off horizontally perpendicularly from the car. It is really soft and easy to bend too. Good luck.

Yes, I am talking about the painted piece. It is just a pressed fit? No fasterners?

It is attached by spring clips on the body. Like the clips on the windshield trim on early cars. Use something plastic and start at the back and pry the trim away from the body. I think it comes "out" not up. Once you get the first one the rest are cake. Good luck.
