Default Save my marriage, buy these seats!

My wife is ready to string me up by my nads. And she is justified if she does!!! I got the bright idea that i would buy seats with the $$ i got from selling the rollbar (had 2 when i bought the 951).

I bought a pair of Konig V Racing Rush seats. Here is a link to JC Whitney http://216.239.51.104/search?q=cache...s&ct=clnk&cd=5 well the guy at konig told me they were side mounts.

Got a two pairs of side mounts. Here is a link to one store that sells em:
https://secure15.nexternal.com/share...t=products.asp now i have seats coming in and $150 worth of side mounts.

When i realized i had a mess i went to a local speed shop and got a pair of nice seats. This is a picture of the two sets of seats.

Bottom line: I cant sit in the fixed back Konig competition seats (They say Cobra all over them) with my back. I got em for $200. Someone take em off my hands.

I was told a sub belt is required next season so the reclining seats wont be allowed with my harness system. The seats are Tuner FX. I paid 340 for the pair with sliders. They are very comfortable and would make a ratty interior look real good. If somoene knows someone or wants em for their street car please take em off my hands.

The black seats have less than 500 miles on em, the competition seats are still in the box. edit 11/10 black seats sold this morning. thanks Mark.

I am easing my wife into accepting that i will probably get a set of sparcos that recline or a set of recaro srd/speeds. she isnt fighting because i am probably dipping into the 401k to redo the two bathrooms the way she wants emm done.

Please buy these seats. As soon as they are gone I will probably sell the factory seats too. drivers is power but not the prettiest. not ugly either. passenger is manual and mint.

Oh Tom! If you just stuck with Miata's everything would be alright. You should have known you couldn't handle a turbo.

getting much sleep lately? Congrats!!

The turbo i can handle, the non moving parts i screw up with. Want a set of fixed back seats that would look great in your red 944? they are FIA approved too i think.

Dont know. They are cobra monacos i think with a konig label. the disclaimer says cobra, the plastic says cobra. they are bottom mount and the guy a konig said they use a sparco base. i have sparco base and it is different. i dont have the tools to drill into the sparco base and she is ready to kill me.

I'd love to help you out, Tom, but that rollbar blew my "pissing money away" budget for the moment!

BTW, I sold the rollbar to BB and as promised the check was mailed to me when I dropped it off at his relatives house. Now I have the money, his aunt has the rollbar, and he cant wait till thanksgiving!!!

Enjoy it, and when it goes to its next owner sell it as previously owned, not used!!

Indeed, I'm happy with the way the transaction went. And yeah, I'm itching for Thanksgiving right about now...
