Angry Anyone have a good drivers late offset power tie-rod?

Mine has alot of play, is it worth finding a good used one - or just bite the bullet and get a new one?

I have a complete rack out of an '84, did the offsets have an affect on the tie-rod length?

Thanks a bunch - but after thinking about it - I am just going to replace both sides with new rods and not have to worry about it.

I got two brand spanking new tie-rod ends online for $14 each about two weeks ago. I can't remember where, but a quick search should turn up the same deal.

EDIT: Are you talking about the rod itself or just the end?

Oh yeah, I need the whole thing - Paragon has the ends for the price you described - we just changed them on my brother's car.

hey I have some tie rods, brand new, 944 347 033 20, I think they are for early power steering. In my opinion, the offsets probably didnt have a huge affect on tie rod length, because you could adjust the tie rods on the rack and on the tie rod end. I have like three tie rods (all brand new) and a couple spare tie rod ends, pm me and let me know if you could use these, I will look up my info and make sure what I told you is correct, I am selling these because I bought them, they were the wrong style for my car (83' manual rack). Help me out of a jam here, I can hook you up with em for less than a lot of places. let me know.
