Has anyone experienced a sunroof that doesnt pop up?. J/K
Well mine isnt doing anything, thought I would start with a new motor and relay, but it might be the gears, I dont know how can I tell. Can I open and remove it without power and if so how?

just wait out a bit for a manual sunroof latch kit to come on ebay or here.

no more electrical crap to worry about.

open the hatch, on the left side (under the carpet) on the.......D pillar? C-pillar? whatever, anyway, right there will be a nut attatched to the sunroof arm motor. it's a 13mm (i believe) and you can turn it one way or the other, and it will actuate the sunroof arms to take it up, down, or to retract the arms completely so you can remove the sunroof entirely.

i suggest buying a ratcheting 13 box-end, because a regular ratchet and socket wont fit and a regular box end is a PITA.

edit- i can take a picture of what nut you need to turn when i get home.

I have a new motor and relay I should hook it up and see if she pops, if not I assume it must be the gears?
