Birmingham autocross sunday
Any 944 owners planing to partake in this event?
If I do run, this will be my first at closed course racing so any help or comments please. For more info on the event check out http://www.alscca.org/
BTW it's the last solo event of the year for the alscca and it's a charity event with proceeds going to help out the children's hoslpital.

I'm down in Huntsville for a while, but unfortunately, without the P car or the Saab. Do they have a class for 1/2 ton, 4WD pickups? In low range and the thing will out accelerate a 930 untill I hit 40 mph...
I might come down and watch though. The autocross is at Hover Met stadium? The SCCA page wasn't particularly clear.

Race the truck. I'm sure you will be 1st in class as will my friend with a minivan. Might be just a little embarassing.
It's at the birmingham race course(the dog track), I believe it starts around 10am or so.

Are you sure its at the BRC? The last couple of events I went to in B'ham were at the Met.
EDIT: I just got of the phone with my buddy Joe Sharrow(ALSCCA Sec.) and was told it was at the BRC. I'll Try to be there early enough to run but if not I'll still be there to watch. I know quite a few 944 owners that are SCCA members here in town so hopefully they will also show up.
