Question Anyones AFM door ever get stuck open?

Was just thinking about this the other day. I have had this happen two times to me with my sunroofless car, but not in a long time. Both times all I had to do was tap on the AFM housing with a maglight and it was back to normal. Anyone have experience this?

Yeah! That happened to me once!

It was the only time the drive really mattered. The 951s last drive. Right before I could cross into Ohio, the AFM stuck and the car died. I thought either the fuel pump died, or the AFM had gone bad. I messed with it and banged on it, but it didnt go back to normal.

We later fixed it in cincinnati. Wiggled it around, and after a few moves, it went back to normal

YES. It happened to me 2 weeks ago. The barn door was stuck half open because the soldered wire broke and caught the wiper arm on the potentiometer. It acted like it was running on 3. I thought I had bad valve timing or a short somewhere in the ignition cap/wires.
