Question How to remove the check valve from the brake booster?

The rubber grommet in the booster is old and hard, and I'm having trouble pulling the check valve out. Same problem with the thick hose that goes onto this valve. I would prefer to reuse the hose.
Any tips?

Do your self a favor and replace the hose and the rubber grommet.....it pulling out hard is a sign that it is old. It will be hard for it to stayed sealed after you move it around trying to get it out.
