I believe it was a custom color. The codes show it came out of the exclusive program and the paint code is L999 which sounds like custom to me.

Any way to ID what those 5 digit option codes are for? My father's 968 coupe has a handful of those too.

L999 could mean it was custom paint to either a factory color or paint matched to customer sample. You would need to see the window sticker to be sure. I would think what they charge extra for color matching would be prohibitive for the cost of the car new but you never know. Most paint to customer sample cars I have seen can bump the price up by as much as $13k.

If its not sold already, I plan on seeing the car this weekend. It is certainly unique. Hope it looks better in person than in pics. No M030 though

Cool, I hope you get a chance to look at it and drive it. You could always add M030 afterwards

I agree it is cheap and easy to upgrade to M030 components the only expensive part would be adding an LSD.

This car has an LSD according to the option codes along with the 17" wheels so you can fit bigger brakes if you wish.

Test drove it Sunday morning. Went to test drive another car sunday afternoon. Decided I wanted the "unique" one and called Monday. D'Oh. Car sold Sunday night. I missed another one.. Someone else got a nice one
