Default Chipped Key

I own a 2002 dodge ram with a chipped key and I am down to one key... is there a fuse I can pull or somthing so I can just use a normal key to start it or am I going to have to go to the dealer ship and trade of my left kidney for a new key?

You can make non-chipped copies and hide the chip key you still have in the column near the RF antenna, but I think it'd be smarter to get it done properly. It's nice to know someone can't steal your truck with a hammer and a scout knife.

you might have better luck asking in the dodge ram forums.

I bought a jeep transponder key and remote off ebay for 20 bucks last year. Kept putting it off because I knew the dealer was going to hammer me to program the key and the remote. Finally got around to doing it the other day, and they ended up only charging me 20 bucks to program the key, the keyless entry, and cut the key.
