I just got thru replacing mine on my 951. Does the strange spacer have to go back in and if so on which one? My 924S didn't have one. It kinda looks like one of those ring sizers you see at a jewelers.

We put the spacer back in.It goes on the sensor closest to the firewall.

The first one came out so easy I knew we were in for a fight on the second one.

I just assume ALL Campeck references involve a 2.5 motor, Ronal wheel searches and Roman Candles....

Having met ya, I can, indeed attest to the above.

It's actually Brad's old '87 turbo that I bought from him. Working on cleaning her up a bit. She was running great and the other day it just died while traveling down the road. It has a sweet roll bar custom made inside the car, this thing is in there for good.

I would have guessed that you were removing the belt covers.

My new favorite 944 alteration.

Wouldn't help in your case, (well maybe), but it REALLY helps doing a clutch job. Both my cars recieved this alteration in the last year.

Cut the bellhousing so that the bellhousing slides off the sensors without removing them.
