Tried to go and get some stock placeholder page. Is it just me?
Joe, what are the rules on reworking crank for oil starvation issues?

Use this for now we are working on getting the .com name back.
with respect to the crank.
You can cross dill to your heart's content. Knife edging is not allowed. Undersized bearing are allowed, but once you get past the first undersize they are cost prohibitive. Better to get a used crank instead.
You can baffle the pan, add turbo oil cooler or and other external oil cooler as well.

Baffling is not the same as crank scrapper, but a crank scrapper would be allowed under our "longevity" clause.
baffling the pan involves welding in a trap door near the oil pick up to prevent it drifting away in hard cornering. It also involves putting a ring around the oil pickup again to prevent oil stavation in hard cornering. The crank scrappers are intented to minmize the oil frothing and whipping around from the crank turning. They advertise that they make a tiny bit of hp, but I doubt it. They can have a benefit on oiling and anything that maintains good flow of cool oil to the rod bearings is big help.

Thanks Joe. I guess my crank would be a non-keeper since it is knife-edged.
