NorCal Dyno tuning?
I'm looking for a dyno shop in Northern California, preferably close to Sacramento to help work out some tuning bugs in my car. Can anyone recomend a shop preferably equiped with a Dynapack dyno, or hydraulic loading dyno, sencondarly preferring the eddy-current type loading dyno (Mustang dyno, Dynojet, etc). Thanks for any information.

Try Force Fed Performance, they are geared more more towards Vettes, Vipers, and SBC's but they know tuning.

way to read my mind, dan.
i'm going to put in my 951MAX chips, and hopefully getting my car to run half freakin decent so i can get a dyno pull in.
i've got a coolant expansion tank coming soon (to replace the leaking one) so maybe my engine temps will return to normal.
probably gonna replace the thermostat while everything's pulled apart.
i'm also looking for a good shop.
the only ones i had seen before were Motorsport Dynamics, and Midnight Performance (out by sunrise), but MSD spent too much money on their drift car and went bankrupt.

I tried calling Motorsport Dynamics yesturday, and they still have phone lines up, but no one answered, and no calls back. They supposedly have (or had) a Dynapack. The machine said they were at a new location (2439 Arden Way, behind dimple records), but I'm not sure how current that info is.
I'll give Force Fed a call today (their website coinsides with information I've learned elsewhere, so hopefully they know what they're doing).

So I talked to Force Fed. They won't touch anything thats not domestic. The guy sounded like a major pre-madonna and after talking to him, I'm not sure if I'd take my car to him if he was comfortable with it.
I'll try Dave Erlich in Diamond Springs, he doesn't have a dyno, but is a competant tuner.

Theres more deserving people for my money.

Ok, why does everyone around here like the mark 8's? My grandfather has one and that thing is a comlete pita to drive - I know he sucks at car matienence though, so do they not all suck for driving around in?

MK = mark. I think their new rebadge of the ford fusion will be the mark 10 (mk x).

I understand the question Bill, just not clear how it relates to dyno-tuning in Sacramento
