Any reason to not buy a 931? I've actually been looking for one...

When I was in SF, Oregon was a little too far. Now, it's way too far. But I'm on the look out... I need a beater now that I left the 300TD back in SF.

Hey that 931 has the engine in place! No fair, both of mine are apart.

A 931 is a great car, less work than a 951 and more rare. Only fault with car is that it is a turboed 924, which means the car is much less refined or smooth as a 944 or higher models.

I'd be a little skeptical about the 42k miles though, as the odometers roll over at 100k. Only if the mileage is true, the car is in mint condition and the are service records and history on the car the asking price would be justified. A perfect 931 could get 5k at most IMO, and 98% of 931s are far from perfect today.

[I've got an 1982 924 Turbo (non-running) for sale.... perfect for a beater.]
