Nah, the allroad is staying stock. I was toying with the idea of chipping it, but it's still under warranty and I don't want to play with fire

The only thing that I was thinking of doing is to VAG-COM the suspension and lower it a little in Level 1.

Nothing wrong with trying to save some money, its not like I offered you 8k. I believe it was around 12,8 to try and save on shipping which would be around 1k. I am recently married, thanks for remembering.

Nothing wrong with trying to get the most out of your car, but If thats the case why didnt you ask more from the beginning? If you are not going to take 14k, dont list that as your selling price. Simple.

I am looking at a car on ebay, I'd just rather have this one. So 14k I believe is listed in your first post?

Judson, I understand where your coming from but you should be discussing this with him directly not on his for sale post.

Rennlist is not a place for bickering (I hope ).

I just wanted to let other buyers know what he is doing. I feel like it is wrong for someone to say I will sell you my car for 14k and then say well I will sell it to the one who offers me the most money. Like what was said before if you want to have an auction for your car take that **** to ebay. I do how ever understand that he would like to get the most money out of his car he can. Thats great and all, but understand the market price of theses cars before you put it up for sale. At this point I dont care if he sold me the car for 13k I still would not buy it. He has a very nice car and I hope he gets what ever the hell he wants for it.

sorry, all - but i have no problem with waiting to see if he gets a better offer. It's a cherry car at a reasonable price. I'm willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt that the jumped out with a price that was too low for what he has to sell, he has other sale opportunities pending, or if he has it in multiple places for different money. If not - and he's being manipulative - i dont care.

if you want the car Judson - pony up what he wants to let it go or wait to see if he makes the deal with you. the guy really owes you nothing during negotiation and please take it offline.

Here's one way to prevent this whole thing in the first place: Don't post classifieds in tech forums!

Keeps the dirty laundry off the top of the tech page, instead of the threads asking for help.

fezz- you dont care if hes being manipulative? Um....ok, thats strange..hope you buy parts from him soon. Set of wheels for sale $400. (Ok, Ill take them for 400) Ill get back to you in a few days, Im going to take the highest offer. Ok, say best offer then or LIST THE PRICE YOU REALLY WANT TO RECEIVE...jesus.

Judson did want the car, the top of the thread says 13,990. Justin offered 14k and he still wont take it saying he is waiting for the top offer. This is not ebay, but it is something and that something is ghey.

Hate to take sides here, but if the fellas asks for 13,9 and gets the offer then 13,9 it should be... fair is fair and have to agree about the Ebay comment.

What they said, if your asking price is met then sell because what's the point of even mentioning a price then????

sam, this isn't about me and do you really think you know what was discussed during the "deal". i sure dont.

ilko, if it were my car - listening to all this - i would pull the for sale post. list it in PCA mart if you havent done so already. if running right, the car is worth more money and you should get it - if you dont - bird in hand is worth two...

you guys should want to see him get all he can for it. $$$$$$$$$

I'm not saying that the car is not worth it, I was drooling all over it when it was on e-bay, I'm saying that if he want's 20K and someone offers 20K then sell and not wait around to see if someone will offer 21K.

If you wont accept you selling price then ask for more and be done with it.

By the way, in my opinion, that car is worth a lot more than that.

My .02 cents

Now let's proceed with the sell, do I hear 14K
