Low fuel level = hotter running and more performance?

actually....i have an adjustable regulator on my car and pulling pressure on the system has no noticeable affect untill the pressure is way low and the car doesnt idle. the only time when it wont rev is when it goes to RICH...

when i get a fuel pressure gauge ill let you know but saying that the car will run like crap with anything less than 37 isnt true.
