Default Plug firewall holes when removing AC?

Quick question this evening... finally pulled all the engine bay hard AC lines. What a PITA... ended up just cutting one of them into pieces, don't have a clue if it is even possible to remove without pulling the brake master.

Anyway, I left the heater core for now, so the coolant lines are still there. Do I need to plug the holes where the refrigerant lines pass through the firewall?

Anyone done this? What did you use, or does anyone have pics?

TIA

Order up the non AC firewall gasket, it should be 944 572 264 00. Going off the pricelist it seems to be $12.

I took some thin galvenized steel plate and silconed it in there. It has not moved in 6 years.
