Post WTB -- CDR 210 Radio

I'm looking for a CDR 210 radio. If you've got one for sale, please contact me at sib100@verizon.net.

Thanks!

I have the CDR 210 radio and I love it...but it's not for sale. However, I wish I'd paid more and gotten the CDR 220.

I replaced the CR-1 stock radio because the wrong Code to get it running came with the car. It's an Alpine. Anyone know how to get the code for these? I hate to see that CDplayer/radio non functional. It worked great for 3,000 miles until I unhooked the power.

I meant the CR-1 is a cassette player/radio.

Harvey, - How hard is the swap? is it a simple plug and play (same connector plugs on the back) or did you need to mess with splicing wires?

It's only plug and play if you get a custom pre-made wiring harness connector...then it's a job of minutes, rather than hours. About $35 and worth every penny when you look at what it takes to rewire it. I got mine from SW stereo specialists at www.swstereo.com or 800-270 BEST. Their latest ad says they have a special on CDR-220s. Don't know how special that is though. My radio was used but looked like new when I got it from them. The 220 apparently can work with MP3 players, etc. Not sure what that requires...maybe a cable plug someplace? Fits right in and even looks stock since it says PORSCHE on the faceplate (removeable).
