F/S Modified Torsion tube
Is there anyone looking for a modified torsion tube.
I have one forsale that has been modified by me.
The rubber mounts have been taken out and a steel insert welded in.
A 3/4" rod end conects a custom bracket to the control arm.

Price and pics, please. It's about damn time that someone put this together.
Any chance that you raised the tie-in point for the spherical bearing, ala Kokeln's setup?

I would like to get $250 for it. This includes just the torsion tube and the arms that mount to the rear control arms and 3/4"rod ends.
No I did not move the location of the mounts.
I will load pictures when I get home tonight

Tell me more about the conversion - do you still have to use the expensive ($1200+) kits, or does this allow you to use more available (and therefore cheaper) coilover units?

No changes to the shock mounting points. This piece eliminates the flexible rubber torsion tube carrier bushings. This means that you won't end up with significant alignment changes during cornering.
I'm probably stealing my own sale, here, but this is a cheap solution that is just as good as Kokeln's $2500 rear suspension kit.

the only mod to the tube is a 3/4 "plate welded into the opening drilled and taped for the rod end to bolt to. the hard part to come up with is the arm that goes back to the control arm.
