well once I finish this stupid timing belt/ water pump/ seal replacement which I started 2 months ago (just have to figure out how to tension the belts, see my thread).

can't wait until I can finally drive it, if my timing belt replacement doesn't cause it to blow up that is.

anyways heres a pic of when I first got it.a few months ago. it's up on ramps right now.

It's approximately (+/- 1/4") 25" from the ground to the top of the wheel arches all around.

Once the new 17" wheels go on, I will drop it to a more appropriate height depending on available clearances. It's now under 2700#, so yeah it could stand to be lowered a bit.

Anything can beat anything around the track, depending on who's driving it.

"My bone-stock plain-jane car:"

Ha! - There are a couple of very obvious items that I notice on your car that make me doubt this Love the color matched split rear wing and the front brake cooling ducts!!

My car - I've added the big reds since this pic....need to get an updated one.

To comment on the 911 vs 951. I have a 95 993 and am pretty sure that at least half the cars at 944fest would have slammed it. It is a fast car but not as agile as the 951's that i saw at the fest. I often think when i am driving it, " this is nice, but it does NOT have the handling of my 944". had i brought it to the fest, both Dan's would have lapped me in a 30 minute session, lol. Probably a few others too.[IMG]
