Default 968 Values

Hey All

I am a 993 guy and don't know much about 968's. I have a buddy who is looking to purchase a 1993 968 tip-coupe. Reported to be 9.5/10 both in and out with about 17,000 miles. KBB & Edmunds values are pretty low when it comes to a 993's true market value. Is this also true of the 968's? What is an approximate value range for this vehicle assuming a good PPI? Thanks in Advance.

The low miles and condition put it in this price range. Other cars with more mileage are available for less....but you probably pay one way or the other. Buying the best shape vehicle is almost always best...however, a car with only 17K miles has done a lot of sitting...not good for any car...particularly a Porsche. Some upfront money will likely be need to replace deteriorated rubber parts, shrunk seals, seized motors, relays, etc. Unless it was stored in a heated garage.
