I'm repairing a 944S2 track car and need to replace the nose panel. (The one just in front of the hood where the Porsche Crest is mounted.) I seem to recall that some of the 944 noses had a vent on them, but this one does not, though that may not be correct for this car as the panel on the car is not original.
Since it's a track car, I don't need a new part, but it must be decently presentable. The car is white, but it's not a real big deal to have it painted.
If anyone knows where I can find such a part, please let me know. Closer to Atlanta is a plus.
Feel free to call my cell: 4O4 3O8 O2O7

On an S2, the 924 turbo nose with the vents won't fit (not long enough).
You can get an aftermarket nose piece (lindsey racing, GT-racing, etc) but you better have a good fiberglass guy. The other option is going with the stock nose piece, and I believe there are people out that that even take the stock piece and modify it if you want vents.
If you don't want vents, find someone parting a turbo or S2. Todd944 is usually parting stuff, but I can't say at this time.

I have one that was dented and cheaply repaired with bondo and painted, and has a 3 inch crack in the bondo, otherwise good shape. It would make a great track car panel. Asking 125 plus shipping.

I have one just removed from a 87 Turbo, primed ready to paint, $ 199.00 shipped to your door.

I've got one that's already vented (custom vent modification on a stock turbo nose panel) in great shape. Black paint in decent shape... You can actually see the panel in my avatar, though it's a bit tough to see in that picture. Let me know if you'd like a better pic.
I've swapped a stock panel back on mine, so I'd let this one go for $125 plus shipping if you're interested. I'm also up for trades, esp late offset wheels that'll fit a turbo. Drop me a PM or email if you're interested.

Not the best angle ever, but a clean shot of the nose- The paint really is black, it just looks a bit blue due to the lighting.
This is a modified stock nose panel, so there are no special mounting instructions- it bolts in just like a normal panel.
If anyone wants, I can take some more pictures of the panel when I get home from work- it's been sitting around since I swapped it.

How much would you want for that nose panel?

At the moment, Lart951 has dibs, if he passes, tafkai, then Cosmatics951 are next in line. I'll keep things posted.
Clearly I should have asked more for it!
