Can I use an ultrasonic cleaner on my injectors?
I have the fuel rail off on my brother's car, I have injector seals on order with Rennbay - is it safe to dunk them in Trichloroethylene and ultrasonically clean them for a couple hours?

I don't see why not. Just be careful that the trichloroethylene doesn't light up. Some cleaners say not to use flamable liquids in them since they can get near their flash point.

Trichlor shouldn't hurt the windings themselves, but I don't know about any of the other plastics or insulators inside.
If they're off the car already and you have a couple of days, send them out for a bench cleaning. They'll come back like new.
Look locally for a fuel injection service - check heavy truck/diesel service places. If you can find someplace close by, they can probably do it while you wait. The equipment they use flows the solvent through the injectors to clean everything out. I don't know if you'd get the same effect with just an ultrasonic cleaner.

TCE is non-flammable - that's why we use it.
I'm just concerned about the internals. I guess I could suspend them to where just the tips are submerged, just want to get the crap off them.......

My injectors are currently at Witchhunter being cleaned and flow tested. This link shows how they use three different ultrasonic cleaning steps. It doesn't appear that the injectors are completely submerged in any of the steps. $15/injector well spent IMO. Hope this helps!
