Default Python Injection air flow meter for 944 S2

My machanic told me that I need to replace the AFM in my S2. I found that Pelican is selling AFM made by Python Injection, and it's $169 (much cheaper than the one made by Bosch). Is it a good idea to go w/ the Python Injection one? Did Bosch stopped making AFM?

Might that be a reman unit?

I have used Python injection components before without issue - replacing a bad fuel injector on a Montero I had many moons ago...

PS - on the flip side, I just successfully fixed the AFM in my 87 924S (160kmi) last night per the procedure on Clark's Garage, bending the arm in for a different contact radius. Had a stumble/dead spot on accel when cold; now the stumble's gone and it runs better/smoother elsewhere too. Of course, the stumble has promptly been replaced by a new oil leak onto the header...
