Default Brake shop in Plano?

Does anyone know a good, reliable brake shop in or around Plano, TX?

I always buy my brakes from zimms autotechnic and I have a guy over off of buckingham in richardson that does them for me.

You really can just swap the pads yourself if you got a few spare minutes. I just choose to not get my hands dirty. I say buy the stuff and change them yourself or call up zimms. they would be happy to change the pads for you. Although only the parts department is open on saturday. They only do work mon-fri.

Which is kinda a pain in the *** cause everyone works mon-fri. Its impossible to get to them without advanced notice. Hence why I have my local guy do it.

A family friend of ours runs a shop called the Auto Shop in East Plano. Sad thing is we don't use him much any more as my mom is the only one still living there and her car is new enough that it mostly goes to the dealer. He does not specialize in any particular makes or models though, and I never owned a porsche when I was there so no idea his capabilities to work on one. But brakes aren't model specific anyway... If you use them, the owner's name is Jerry (I can never spell his last name right so I won't butcher it)

Go to Lewisville and talk to Rick at 5th gear motorsports. It's on FM 407 just west of I-35. He used to work for Boardwalk, very friendly, very helpful and the place seems to do great work.
