Any interest in this '86 944 for $1500?
The timing belt is presumed broken.
The car belongs to a lady I work with who I would like to help out. She needs $ for another vehicle.
This is what she's told me about the car:
2001 Boxter S wheels (purchased new from the dealer)
BF Goodrich tires with less than 3K miles
New Flow Master exhaust (cat - back)
Odometer shows over 200K, but it's been less than 100K since it was 'rebuilt' after the first timing belt broke
Zimmerman cross drilled rotors
Momo Corsa Cup 1 steering wheel
Vertex Air Flo system
I may be able to get pictures this weekend.
I don't really have room for a 4th 944 right now and my P-car budget is at an all time low, or I would take this project on.
The car is located in the Charlotte area. I could help move it (reasonable distance) if required. As a favor to the current owner, I can fix the engine for a lot less than a dealer or specialty shop.

I'll be in Charlotte / Southern Pines next week.. Hmm.
Maybe I'll rent a truck for the trip and haul it back.
