Good. I was just going to toss you a mail to check and make sure you weren't hanging around Dawson.
Just got mail from Mike tonight too. He's okay, just being a hippie.
On to the Foliage run. I got good coordinates from Gretch today. I'm going to mail a flyer out tomorow night hopefully (today was just too much). Were jelling up the plans. Think we found what could be a final destination http://www.thecmaninn.com/
I really want to try the Bleu Cheese and Basalmic vinagrette salad.
Looks like there is room outside for a photo op. I'll probably call or run up there and see what it takes to get a section bar of the bar to ourselves, and hopefully a section of the parking lot close to the entrance.

YEah I was thinking of doing a bump later today.
Just for an update.
We've got a few more attendees in the past few days. To include up to as many as 10 Pelicans.
As an estimate I would say we are closing in on 50 cars. This mainly due to the people here passing the word to others outside Rennlist. For that I thank everyone.
If we can get this kind of trunout will make it a yearly thing.
All the trees are looking mighty fine.

Hey Gretch & Daredevil
I'm off on business, be returning Friday at the latest. I'll get mails from people and I should be able to respond to them. But can you guys respond to questions from Foliage type folks on the forums (search on 2006 Foliage run, and you should be able to subscribe to the threads).
I'll try to check up on them, but I'll be with customers during the day, I'm pretty sure I won't have internet acces floating on the rivers of New Haven, or at Ground zero. So if you guys can answer it would be appreciated.
Sid

Great time was had by all. Lots of cars sowed up. Somewhere in the area of 30. There were a few counts taken, but some people moved in and out at different times.
Maybe someone can count when the pictures were up.
I'll do a longer write up later for everyone, and we'll host the pictures and video.
Short summary. We hit 110/115 coming out of the Hookset tolls, when 928GT thought he'd been passed, but he was in front. So he went burning hell for rubber to find the Southern gathering parade, when we were behind him. (the 944 that could couldn't overtake him).
The run up to the White mountains with everyone else was also spirited, hitting triple digits. Then we went into the mountains. First held up by a logging truck, then by peepers. But the worse was when we turned south when some sanctimonious minivan driver did his best to block the run, up to and including honking his horn at us.
He got his what for when Zeus, and a black 928 got in front of him and baked the tires engulfing him in tire smoke. The one thing I can say is that I’m sure we ruined his day 10 times more by just existing than he ruined ours. We couldn't go fast in the twisties, but the scenery was outstanding.
Thank you again for everyone that came out. Special Kudos to Gretch for letting us use his austere survival camp to meet up north.
