I saw the black one on hwy 29 last sunday and the burgundy one on Jefferson on monday or tuesday. I don't remember ever seeing a 951 in Napa before that. I should have mine by the end of the month.

Mine was a daily driver for the last 7 years. Several trips cross-country (2700 miles 46 hours elapsed solo). I bought it with 47k miles. It now has 174k miles. Other than getting raped on the clutch, the maintenance costs have not been bad at all. A few timing belts, brake pads, rotors, AFM ($50 used).

Of course, I don't fix everything that's broken. The PS rack has been leaking since I bought the car, but fluid's cheaper.

Just another data point.

Funny; I found this post to see how many were doing it, and now I’m gonna hop on the bandwagon 😁

been using my 86’ 951 as my daily for the past couple of months. Mixed freeway/ around town. Around 100 miles a day (have a bitch of a commute &#128513 as well as roadtrips— (Oregon for camping last year, as well as camping for Rennsport reunion..... yes ; it’s an SUV) and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed. My particular car is maintained to the 9’s, and I’ve had literally zero (knock on wood) issues. Dead nuts reliable. Great mileage, fast and comfy— for anyone on the fence for using this thing on the daily, I say change the oil every 5k, take care of the small maintenance issues any 30+ yr old car will have, and make a target run.... this thing will haul all the kids, and as many bags of groceries as you can throw at it 😁🤘

btw.. it has 156k on it.... and climbing!

goddamn; what a great car .

951daily driver checking in here....

black daily 951 has 310k miles. Bigger turbo and mods, 18psi. Roughly 95 miles/day 5-6 days a week. These cars need to be driven frequently.

I've got red 951 with 235k miles and 400whp. Used to be daily driven but it's more of my weekend car now.

I've got a 968 with 177k that runs great also.

My Cayenne turbo is for inclement weather, family duty, towing, etc. 208k and pulls like a freight train.

Drive them. Porsches don't like to sit.
