Default Help alarm problem

Well, I had to replace my battery today and since I cannot find the remote for the alarm I cannot figure out how to reset it.
Does anyone knoiw how to reset a viper alarm without the remote? I really need to get this thing going as I am supposed to be going to Albany tomorrow.
Thanks!

Usually there's a momentary button somewhere under the dash that you use by inserting the ignition key turning to 'on' and press the button. They have to have a backup in case the battery goes down on the remote.

I tried the switch and it does not work. It is a 3 way switch, down is momentary then there is a middle and a top posistion. I have tried all 3 and the damn alarm still will not reset.

I found the fuse to the alarm and removed it and now the car starts. Sounds like the alarm is still going off though as I can hear very faint chirps from the speaker. At this moment though I really don't care though as the car starts.
