What to do? Fix 2.5 16V or Renegade LS1?

somtimes its not about the cost or how difficult and different it is but rather getting your hands dirty and having fun doing somthing few people do, good luck with the project!

put a porsche engine back into it. 944 8V motors can be had cheap if you look hard, could probably have it back on the road for under $2k +labor. You would need the long engine, harness, and ECU.

if cost is the deciding option, the 8v is probably the best option. when i converted to v8, i only got $350 for mine on eekbay, plus a whopping $300 to ship it from ohio to az. it had high miles on it, but ran fine.
