Default Porsche mechanics in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel hill area

My 951's clutch needs to be replaced and I am looking for a good mechanic near Chapel Hill to do it. If you know their hourly rates that would be nice too. Thanks

European Performance in Raleigh (919-851-5084) was recommended to me when I was looking for a PPI. The service manager was great. After the PPI I ended up buying the car and since it was there I had them do some of the things that couldn't wait. I was calling them like every day asking a ton of newbie questions on Porsches. He always took the time to answer all my questions. Between that and the good clean work they did, they have definitely become my mechanics.

While not having any personal experience with the Porsche dealer in Cary I was told by a few people to stay away with older Porsches. They all had great things to say about EP though and I'm glad I listened. Everyone said they were very knowledgable about older Porsches. Between them and all the help from the folks on here my 89 N/A is coming right along.

One thing I have never seen before with my other cars was this, any bolt that they removed they replaced with a fresh bolt. Even on the airfilter housing mounting brackets.

BTW, European Performance is located on Hillsborough St past the state fair grounds as you head towards Cary. I don't know what the relationship is but they are in the same location as Motorcar Investments. They've got an 82 911SC that I've been eyeing but I'm not sure its for me. I'm not a big Targa fan. They also have a rather nice looking 951 with a lot of mods that is in really nice shape.
