XDavids has been selling parts for quite a while on Ebay. I would think some of the GA members would know the guy and could pay him a visit.

 

Sent him something via Ebay, no reply. There was a reply on the Pelican boards, not from David though, someone else 'Chris'

No word on anything as of yet though.

Not trying to start anything, but I remember a few others having some issues with him in years gone by.

He's replied to my email, no phone answer though.. He said it's STILL stuck at customs waiting to get sent back to him.

Hopefully everything clears up soon, I want to get my project on the road and I can't afford to be out ~2 grand and a 944S2 LSD Transaxle all at once.

Okay this is getting extremely ridiculous.

He got in contact with me about 2½ weeks ago, told me he got the tranny back from fed-ex and is shipping it right away.

I told him to email me a tracking number and I'd be okay.

Almost 3 weeks later, no reply, no tracking number, no answering emails or phone calls.

I'm extremely pissed off and if anyone in GA wants to help out a 19 year old who's been ripped off get his money/tranny, send me a PM please.

At this point, have you considered going to the authorities? If for nothing else, it may finally speed this up. $2K is a lot of money.
