Default Fire Extinguisher mount

I am installing my fire extinguisher on the tunnel to the left of the passenger's leg. Is there anything i need to be careful of while drilling through the tunnel. Any recommendations as to the size hardware to use?

You could get a Brey Krause mount.

It limits how car the seat can slide forward but im 6 foot, so its not gonna cause problems unless someone is behind me.

I should have mentioned I have race seats in the car. That mount would interfere with the slider lever.

I think I would find somewhere else to mount it, instead of drilling through the body. Just my opinion

tunnel seems like a fine place or on another bar of the roll bar. If you are set on the tunnel i would just stick my hand up there to make sure I'm not going to drill though someonething and have at.

I actually attached mine to the seat slider for events. Worked fine till my instructor kept kicking it out of the holder.

Only one bar on the Brey Krause harness bar. Can't do seat rail with that seat. Would love to not drill into car but can't think of any other options.

What about taking the slide lever off and making the passenger seat non adjustable. Then using the fire extinguisher mount you originally had?

wait.. do me a favor, take a picture of your camera mount (on the bar) and the fire bottle in its holder....

I'm thinking, could you mount the bottle on the underside of the bar close to the camera mount?

Wow! That's an AWESOME idea. Never thought of that. Although just realized might have to slide seat to get tires in back.

Don't put it on the tunnel! If you have an accident with a passenger in the car it becomes a danger to their legs, that's why roll cages must be padded in that area. I agree with the above - loose the adjustment on the passenger side to do do a BK style mount. Oh and please don't hang it from that harness bar either.
