I picked up a set of factory seats that came out of an 87 951 to replace the worn out seats in my 86 n/a. The seats from the 87 do not have the seat belt receivers attached as they are on the seats coming out of the car. Both are the standard partial power driver, manual passenger.

I looked at the 87 seats and it doesn't appear the receivers were removed. comparing them to mine, there isn't even a place to attach the receivers.

Did Porsche mount the receivers to the tunnel on the 87 Turbo?

I just had the seats out of my dad's 87' 951 and the receivers were on the seat. The mounting point should be on there.

Hmm, one 87 with the receivers on the seats, one with them mounted to the tunnel. The seats I have out of the 87 don't even have the tabs on them to mount the receivers.

How hard would it be to swap the sliders from one to the other?
