Default Using loctight?

I'm in the process of replacing my water pump/ seals etc and I'm not sure what you need to use "loctight on". Actually I went to canadian tire and they only had similar Permatex stuff, one was medium strenght non permanent and another permanent.

Like I just removed my upper balance shaft support housing and replaced the seals and I was not sure if I should use some of the medium strenght permatex stuff on the 3 bolts also don't know if I should use it on the water pump bolts/ nuts.

I think I need to use the medium strength stuff on the crank bolt/ balance shaft bolts / cam gear bolt.

Also does anyone know what website it is that you can look up parts diagrams for your car.

thanks.

Not that I'm the defenitive answer but I have not used any threadlocker on the waterpump bolts, balance shaft cover bolts, oil pump bolts or oil cooler bolts. I have used some anti-sieze on all of them and was especially liberal on the waterpump bolts as they seem to be the most prone to sieze up as you've already witnessed.

Seems to be down right now but:

Use anti-seize. Do not use loctite on your water pump bolts. Most situations, except head studs when installed at the factory,do not require loctite. At best, just screw back in and torque down.

The only thing i used thread locker on when i changed the belts was the distributor rotor screw. Thats it.

DO NOT use thread locker on the waterpump bolts, or you will guaranteed destroy the threads in the block upon removal.
