you'd have better luck with a $2.00 hooker

What do you do with that? Put her mouth on the hardpipe to the I/C and tell her to blow? A $2.00 hooker can get what, like 6 psi? 6 psi would be pretty good on an S2. Man... I need a $2.00 hooker for my n/a.

Ive gotta one up you then. Im going to Twin Hooker my car. The pipes get pretty complex and the whole setup is finicky and might need some smacks upside the heads to work sometimes but im sure itll be worth it.

Oh man....great idea!........sequential twin hookers.......what a way to deal with "hooker lag"........I would assume one would be smaller than the other.........so when the petite one gets you all spooled up, and then the other one kicks in and....BAM!......you're off.......mad hooker torque!!!

Hey, it's always great to see a new enthusiast in the forum. Especially with such a nice example as your first car.

As a side remark to some of the other responses you've had here, let me just say that you've already asked for advice in another thread and several of us have tried pointing you in the right direction but you seem gung ho on tearing into this pristine 944S2. Keep in mind that many of us have been on these boards for several years and have seen nice cars come and go, but most of us always cringe at the thought of modifying a perfect, original, low miles car that otherwise would have been showable, collectable, etc.

Again, this is not the ideal candidate for modification. Is that so hard to understand? A modified 944 is just any 944, whereas an original, low miles 944 is becoming increasingly harder to find and should be valued for what it is: a real treasure.

If you want to have fun modifying a 944 you have the wrong car to do it. Do yourself and the car a favor and drive down to the US to pick up a cheap 951. From the looks of your car, you should have NO trouble selling it for more than you paid. From your posts so far it's pretty safe to say that you'll be glad that you did.

Please don't take this the wrong way!

hmm i understand, sorry if i sounded set on other options rather than buying a 951. I realize that other than a few little imperfections my s2 is a collector. I wasnt eveer 100% set on modifying it, i was just curious as to what was a available for the s2.
My plan now is to drive this car for a little longer, i want to get to know it a bit better, and understand how it drives. I will be looking for a 951, in the mean time and when i find one I will sell mine or possible trade for a beautiful 951. how about the TurboS does it offer what im looking for?

Thanks for everyones help, I appreciate it. sorry i cam across the wrong way

Jordan, if you want more power, GET A TURBO. Don't **** with the S2. End of story.

I like your plan. Get to know your S2 first. It's got more than enough power for your experience level right now. Once you've done a few AutoX's and Track Days, you'll really be able to use the extra power.

BTW you missed a great run last weekend and a great run this weekend!!!

I dunno, its not like its a diamond or anything, its just a low milleage 944. I'd rather have a very nice very modded car, then a mediocre, very modded car... Think of DFASTEST's car, and how everyone drools not only over his engine, but the rest of the car. With the right work, and the right buyer, you will not effect the value. I know a guy that had a built NA motor putting out 220whp, and he sold it for over 10K. You bought the car to enjoy, so enjoy it for yourself, not for the forum. Mod it if you want to!
PS, I would consider trading my turbo for that thing.
