Default Oil on speed/ref sensor

1. That means oil on the flywheel? Could my new rear main be leaking? I don't have any drips there is good oil pressure and I don't loose any oil.

2. Would that cause the car to run like crap, cause tach to jump, then cause car to die?

thanks
Mike
