Default A few misc pics of my ongoing project

I am still figuring out multiple picture uploading. These are some various shots over the last six months. I began by pulling my car out of mothballs in January. I know how you guys/gals love pics!!!

Some more. I have billions of them. Just takes time to sort out the decent ones. Soon- new rack, control arms, struts etc. pics. Good recent engine shots to come too!

Dude! Deja View man

I've got most of it buttoned up.

Finish rear seat delet/storage solution. Get dash back together, new windshield, and wiper motor and I'm finally back on the road.

That after $5K at the mechanic.

P.S. $5k was before above pic. I didn't pay a mechanic to get it back together. My Blood Sweat and tears are in there now.

And I think Derek pee'd on my back tire.

And he still didn't take his box back.

I don't want to even think how many dollars I have put into this little boat. Thank heaven for ebay. I got tons of stuff there like the cherry electric seats from a 92 968, white faced gauges, door/sunroof/hatch seals and a way cool NIB Personal Monza steering wheel for 15 bucks. The wheel was multicolored but I dyed it black. Great wheel great price.

Later,

Dean

That's what I was afraid of. Now I have to hate him forever, for having a Saratoga top. Hate, hate, hate j/k

Unless he's got an extra one, then I'll be his friend for life!

There's been a few for sale, but I haven't the money or time right now.

Thanks for all the input! That is my hatch glass not a saratoga top. However I do have a cherry early manual roof one somewhere in the garage. I will put it on when it gets cooler. That rubber shift boot is off an old 924 along with the 924 ****. I think it looks much more functional than the leather. Plus I have a dash cap. Has anyone heard of 3M Dual Grip? It is like velco but stiffer and both sides are the same instead of hook and loop. I used it to attach the dash cap which can now be removed to access the main gauge cluster and points behind. Another cool thing I installed is window express on both sides. Works waaaaay well. I have a eruo bumper waiting for irons to install. I cant wait to see it with my ebay valence. Oh and just wait for the pictures of my polished belly pan!! More pics this evening. Everyone take care.

Cool, now I can stop hating

Looks good with the early interior.

Has anyone heard of 3M Dual Grip?
No, but I'll have to check it out. My carpet has the foot rest extension and sometimes it flops down. Was going to use velcro, but this Dual Grip might be better.

What's "window express"? Makes your windows go up/down with just one push?

I have a eruo bumper
Nice.... but now I have to go back to hating I'll get euro bumpers and a saratoga top, one of these days....

Now you can start hating again! The 9201 was $479.66 delivered with bar from Sunset Porsche. Box 11$ at electronics store. Saratoga bought in 84ish in LA for too much even for then!
