So when I push my clutch pedal in I feel a pulsating vibration at the engage point of the clutch. Sometimes I feel the same pulsating feeling when the clutch pedal is fully at the floor and sometimes I feel the feeling through the entire travel of the pedal when I'm shifting gears both up and down. It almost feels like something is spinning in the pedal. Could this be my throwout bearing has gone bad or not correctly installed? I don't feel and slipping in the clutch at all. Sometimes I never feel the vibration in the pedal and the pedal feels as it should.

You don't say how many miles are on the car but if the TO bearing guide tube is worn or binding it will tilt the TOB enough to make it feel like it's pulsating. Uneven wear on the clutch fork will do the same thing but isn't as common. As SoCal says it could be the fingers on the PP also but that will usually tear up a TOB pretty fast and make the clutch chatter. It could be the PO of your car didn't replace all the wear items not generally in a clutch kit and it's coming back to haunt you. Has the clutch been replaced at some time before you got the car?

I had something similiar...it felt like someone was tapping the back of the clutch pedal during the first inch or so of travel. It was like that for a few years until the little springs in the clutch disc broke. New clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and fork rebuild fixed it.

i know when the clutch was replaced that all components were replaced as well. I'm gathering all the parts to do the clutch. I can't find it anywhere, but on the glide tube, how much lubricant should be on between it and the throwout bearing?

Not a lot...just smear some on with a rubber glove. You don't want to risk grease getting thrown onto the clutch disc once everything starts spinning.

Carefully note how the old one comes apart. Then reassemble the new one with the spacers in the same positions. You'll have to transfer the ring gear to the new pressure plate also.

I was thinking to change my tranny mount at the same time...The more I thought about it the better it seems like my tranny mount may have been worn and put the tranny out of alighnment with the clutch causing the pulsating. It might not have anything to do with the clutch assembly. Just a theory...but I will test it when I put in a solid tranny mount
