Well, I'm in the middle of doing an oil pan replacement on my 84, slowly making progress. Im ready to drop the pan, the Clarks-Garage procedure says there are 22 pan bolts, I counted the number of bolts on my new pan and there are 22 holes, but for some reason I can only count 20 bolts on the pan thats still on the car
. Am I just not seeing the two that are missing? Are they hidden under, well above(depending on how you look at it) the clutch housing? I hope I don't have some ultra rare pan that only has 20 bolts.

Lol, thanks, I just now got em out, now my problem is that I have 5 bolts remaining, 3 I have in on purpose to hold the pan from falling off. But two are above the AC compressor
, I hope I can reach in with a short exension and U-joint to get em. I can only imagine how big of a pain its going to be to put all the bolts back in.

You'll need 2 90 degree swivels to get to them, with a 1" (Maybe 1/2")extension in between. I hope you have long skinny fingers.
It's a royal PITA.
