Any tips or advice?
Im getting ready to get started replacing the shocks/struts and front wheel bearings on my 924s. Does anyone have any tips to make this any easier? Also what does everyone use to remove the strut caps to get the inserts out? Im hoping a large crescent wrench will do the trick since I couldnt find anything about the factory tool. Thanks in advance!!

Bilstein HD. I have them in my GTi and they are great. I thought about the konis but even when Im at the track Im more of a set it and forget it type. Maybe Ill hold on to the original m030 inserts so ill at least have the option of sending them back to koni for a rebuild/revalve.

Mark the camber eccentric bolt relative to the shock body so you can set it back to the same setting it was prior. Unless, you're doing a realignment afterwards.

Driver side strut is off, now I just need to figure out how to get the strut cap off. My biggest crescent wrench is too small. I did mark the shock but I do plan on getting an alignment after I finish all this, but I think Im going to replace the control arms/bushings first. Any ideas on getting the strut cap off besides goin g and buying a bigger crescent wrench?
